So I wrote this on twitter because I wanted to make a point. The point was not to boycott NC because it not supporting gay marriage but was to get a reaction and boy did I ruffle some feathers. My phone blew up with people saying “Its not our fault we vote pro gay marriage” So I waited a few minutes to see and they kept coming “It’s the politicians fault not ours” this one kind of rubbed me the wrong way, because people are not giving this subject the importance it deserves. Some other person wrote “its OK, no one plays there anyways” (that made me laugh)

Then I posted the one below. Which was the point I wanted to make. People dont really worry about rights until its their rights that are violated. Gay Marriage wont hurt the “sanctity” of marriage because the sanctity of marriage has been violated so many times by straight people, specially our POLITICIANS. God wont get upset because Gay people get married, at least not the God I know. He doesn’t hate what he creates. So stop hiding behind religion and lets be upfront the reason Gay marriage is such a topic is because of money “TAXES” the driving force behind every decision our government makes.

If you don’t believe that Gay people should get married because of your beliefs that is your opinion. The way I see it is if two dudes or two girls want to get married the only opinion that should matter is their own, they shouldn’t need to be told yes or no by any of us or even less our politicians that have shitted all over the sanctity they are so hard are trying to “protect”.
